A really great guy, good listener and goes to great lengths to explain your condition and the procedure to rectify it, with an explanation of the possible side effects. I have found some consultants to be a bit snooty in the past but not this guy, he is very good. I had a 7 hour operation on my face and neck and apart from some numbness am now recovering very well with no other side effects. Thank you Mark.

I cannot thank Mark enough for what he has done for me, he is a genius! I am a mechanic and whilst underneath a vehicle, removing its prop, I had a horrific accident which resulted in major facial injuries and a bleed on the brain. I was 3hrs from home when it happened and was taken to Bristol hospital where I was fortunate to fall under Marks remit. I had no idea how horrific my injuries were, the only thing I knew was when I looked in the mirror I didn’t recognise myself. Mark was supportive from the start, we talked about the surgical procedures I would undergo and I felt safe in his hands every step of the way. Mark was so friendly and kind, we got on really well and I felt like I had made a friend during my stay in hospital. After the surgery, I finally went home and Mark continued to support me, I returned for several check ups and each time I really looked forward to seeing him and having a chat. I was discharged from his care a while ago now as all is good. I will be forever grateful to Mark for his empathy and genuine concern in ensuring he did his very best for me to maintain my quality of life. It’s quite amazing how Mark performed such miracle surgery. Apart from a couple of minor scars I look no different and I will be eternally grateful to Mark for giving me the gift of happiness.
